Kinu Hub to Host Finalists Session
Kinu Hub will host a session with the semifinalists and finalists of PIVOT East 2014 and the finalist and winner of PIVOT East 2013 from Tanzania on 12th June 2014 from 6.00 pm. The session will see TiME Ticket a finalists in the Finance category and Go Finance the overall winner and winner in the finance category in 2013 share their experience and progress over the past one year since PIVOT East 2013.

The finalists from Tanzania, Ubongo Kids and the semifinalists AgrInfo and ShuleWiki will have a pitching sessions which is aimed at helping them improve their pitch deck especially for Ubongo Kids in readiness for the finalists conference that will be held on 24th – 25th June at the Panari Hotel.

We will have a representative from Samsung one of the sponsors of PIVOT East 2014 who will discuss on the important trends to watch for in the mobile tech space in East Africa and how Samsung works with developers and entrepreneurs. John Kieti, Director m:lab East Africa will share on the PIVOT East criteria and trends so far. Kinu is an open space for Tanzania’s tech community to foster a culture of co-creation, spark innovation and augment capacity building. Kinu is a partner in PIVOT East 2014.
